E-E-A-T

読み方:E-E-A-T

Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness. Google's framework for evaluating content quality in its Search Quality Rater Guidelines. Particularly critical for YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) content about health, finance, and safety.

What is E-E-A-T

E-E-A-T is Google's framework for evaluating whether content is high-quality and trustworthy. The first "E" (Experience) was added in December 2022, extending the original E-A-T framework.

The Four Components

  • Experience: Does the content creator have direct, first-hand experience with the topic?
  • Expertise: Do they have knowledge, skill, or credentials in the field?
  • Authoritativeness: Are they recognized as an authority by others in the field?
  • Trustworthiness: Is the content accurate, honest, and from a reliable source?

Why E-E-A-T Matters

Google doesn't directly score E-E-A-T algorithmically, but the signals it evaluates (backlinks, author credentials, content accuracy, site trust signals) directly reflect these qualities. Content that genuinely demonstrates E-E-A-T tends to rank better.

Practical E-E-A-T Improvements

  • • Create detailed author bio pages with credentials, publications, and experience
  • • Include specific data, original research, and first-hand accounts in content
  • • Build backlinks from reputable sites in your industry
  • • Ensure site has clear About, Contact, and Privacy pages
